The Air Kicker BFT 280 is part of an extensive expansion of the U.S. Kids Golf product lineup for 2003. In addition to the new driver, USKG also has announced stainless steel shafts for its Championship Series clubs and a new line of metal woods with ti-insert drivers and stainless steel 3- and 5-woods for the Ultralight and Performance Light lines.

"Our additions for 2003 reflect the continuing influence of the more advanced players who want the best performing equipment possible to help them improve and become more competitive," said Dan Van Horn, founder and president of U.S. Kids Golf. "At the same time, these are product enhancements that will help players at any stage of their development."

On the accessories and soft goods side, USKG is adding new hats and shirts for girls and upgraded stand bags that feature an advanced shoulder-strap system for added comfort.

The Air Kicker is offered in the Silver and Gold series with a choice of stainless steel or composite shafts. MSRP: $149.99.

The new woods, which incorporate larger club heads and feature upgraded grips with a diamond ridge pattern, are now standard in the Ultralight and Performance Light lines. MSRP: Ti-insert driver $47.99, 3 & 5 woods $39.99.

A more comfortable shoulder strap system, more pockets and new color choices combine to give the 2003 USKG stand bags an updated and stylish look. MSRP: $49.99 to $69.99.

The girls' 100 percent twill hats, which feature the "I Am the Future" slogan on the back, and 100 percent cotton pique sleeveless tops are matching lavender. MSRP: Hats $9.99, Tops $25.99 (no logo), $29.99 (with logo).

The company also is adding a new point-of-sale merchandising option to give retailers the choice of a more compact display unit.
