Golf fans urged to sign up for advance ticket opportunities

KOHLER, Wisc. (Dec. 12, 2002) -- The PGA of America and Kohler Co. recently announced ticket prices for the 2004 PGA Championship to be held at Whistling Straits, August 9 - 15, 2004. Those interested in attending the Championship are encouraged to register for advance tickets on www.DestinationKohler.com or www.PGA2004.com in the next two months as the Championship promises to be a sellout more than a year ahead of the actual event.

Pre-registrants are offered the opportunity to purchase championship tickets one month before they are made available to the general public. To date, more than 35,000 fans have pre-registered for tickets since May 2002.
Daily passes are available for practice and championship rounds, as well as seven-day passes that range in price for amenities included. Top priced tickets include admission to the Wanamaker Club, a 100,00 square-foot - air conditioned chalet that features televisions, lounge areas, sports bar and private pro shop.
